● The engine

One engine owns every number.

Two reps pricing the same house get the same figure. So does the re-price when the customer accepts three weeks later. That is the whole design.

01 — Pricing

What the engine decides.

Certificates

Resolved by postcode

Small-scale certificate zone read from the installation postcode rather than the nearest capital, with the current deeming period applied. Battery program tiers and their scheduled step-downs land on the day you price, not the day someone remembers.

Margin

A floor a discount can't cross

Cost base, target margin, the discount cap and the hard floor all live in the engine. Every concession carries a named reason and is funded from a defined pool, so the month-end number is explainable line by line.

Catalogue

One controlled library

Panels, inverters, batteries, heat pumps and air conditioners in one place. Change a price once and the next proposal uses it. Compare two systems side by side without rebuilding either.

Site

Sized against the real roof

An aerial scan places the array on the actual roof plane, with shading already inside the yield figure rather than a flat assumption applied to every house in the street.

Finance

Net cost, not just the sticker

Where a state interest-free loan applies, the net position appears directly beneath the price — shown as an illustration until the customer actually elects it, so nothing implies they signed a credit contract.

Record

Every price has an author

Who priced it, who discounted it, the reason they gave and when it was re-priced. On the job, in an audit log, not reconstructed from memory six months later.

02 — The team

Reps quote. Operations delivers. The owner sets the price.

One record, five levels of access. Nobody sees a number it isn't their job to set, and nobody waits on someone else to produce a quote.

Sales

Rep

Prices a job on site in one pass with the rebates already applied. Sees their assigned jobs only — no cost base, no floor, no margin. Starts from the lead instead of retyping the customer, and knows the moment the proposal is opened.

Delivery

Operations & support

A signed job arrives with its job sheet, hardware list and single-line diagram generated from the same quote. Can release a concession above the rep's cap, and can open any proposal exactly as the customer sees it.

Money

Owner & accountant

Types the price the customer should pay and the engine works the discount backwards to it, against the floor. Margin on every job, what each concession cost, and a draft invoice raised the moment a proposal is signed.

See it against your price book.

The fastest way to judge it is to put your own costs in and try to break the floor.
